the story
It started at a high school prom in 2008 — a borrowed setup, a room full of classmates, and the immediate realization that controlling a dancefloor was something special. DJ DEPOLO was hooked.
By 2012, the first proper mixer was in hand and the craft was getting serious. From 2013 to 2016, he dove deep into the house and EDM world — building a following, live streaming, and eventually taking the stage at Navy Pier in Chicago, a performance you can still watch on YouTube.
Then came the pivot. In 2017, DJ DEPOLO brought that energy back to Philadelphia and built something more versatile: an open-format identity rooted in reading crowds and serving rooms. He plugged into the Philly bar circuit and never looked back — a residency at Plough & the Stars in Old City, every Eagles game at P.J. Whelihan's in Conshohocken, and a steady presence from Conshohocken to Center City and beyond.
Since 2018, he's logged 341+ documented gigs across bars, clubs, private events, and corporate productions. The resume includes The Kimmel Center, Xfinity Live, and Navy Pier — but the real credential is the dancefloor. Night after night, event after event.
